#036 - Leia: Princess of Alderaan Review

This week, we are excited to be talking about another novel in the Journey to The Last Jedi campaign, Claudia Gray’s Leia: Princess of Alderaan. In a way, Leia: Princess of Alderaan is a confluence of Claudia Gray’s  two previous Star Wars novels. Her first, Lost Stars is a YA novel, and, as I’ve already mentioned, Bloodline is a Leia Novel. (For more on Bloodline, give our Episode 34 a listen.) And Leia: Princess of Alderaan is a YA, Leia novel that follows the sixteen-year-old Princess-to-be in the months and days leading up to her coronation as Crown Princess. We first discuss the news of Colin Trevorrow's exit from Episode IX, then we talk about Gray's characterization of Leia, as well as cool connections to existing material and The Last Jedi
