#048 - Phasma Comic Review

#048 - Phasma Comic Review

Earlier this year we were treated to Delilah S. Dawson’s very enjoyable Phasma novel, which brought us the origin story of the First Order icon. Phasma’s story is continued in comic book form, with the Captain Phasma comic, written by Kelly Thompson, illustrated by Marco Checchetto, and colored by Andres Mossa. The four-issue mini-series follows Phasma after she is thrown into the trash compactor by Han, Finn, and Chewie in The Force Awakens. Upon making her way out of the trash, she discovers that a Lieutenant, Sol Rivas, has seen the command log and her order to lower the shields. So she sets off on a mission to hunt him down and keep her secret safe. We discuss the comic and also continue our excitement on the Journey to the Last Jedi.
